Soccer Recap: Intrinsic Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Intrinsic can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Timothy Christian Trojans on Friday. While losing is never fun, Intrinsic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Timothy Christian are ranked 124th).

Intrinsic has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season. As for Timothy Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-3-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.

Intrinsic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timothy Christian, they will take on Cristo Rey Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
