Gulf Breeze's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Pine Forest Eagles get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory. With that win, the Dolphins brought their scoring average up to 7.8 runs per game.
Sydney Hersom made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hersom was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Kylie Reed was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ariana Mercado, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
