Soccer Recap: St. Francis Desales Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If St. Francis DeSales was feeling good fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Mifflin last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stallions came up short against the Olentangy Berlin Bears on Thursday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, St. Francis DeSales can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Olentangy Berlin are ranked third).

St. Francis DeSales' loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Olentangy Berlin, they pushed their record up to 10-1-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. Francis DeSales will venture away from home to face off against Indian Hill at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Olentangy Berlin, they will challenge Olentangy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
