Basketball Recap: South St. Paul Takes a Loss

South St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Two Rivers Warriors and fell 68-34. While losing is never fun, the Packers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Warriors are ranked 93rd).

South St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Two Rivers, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

While South St. Paul had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
