Baseball Recap: Utica Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Utica Eisenhower fell victim to Dakota and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Utica Eisenhower now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Dakota, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-4-1.

Looking ahead, Utica Eisenhower will challenge Chippewa Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dakota will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles face off against the Big Reds, they'll take on Dakota again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
