Baseball Recap: Quincy Find Success

Quincy won the last time they faced Granite City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Devils came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 7-3.

The team relied heavily on Kade Parkhill, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Quincy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nate Konrad, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Quincy's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Granite City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.
