Volleyball Recap: Powers Triumphs

Powers proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Triangle Lake Lakers 3-2.

Powers' win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Triangle Lake, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Coincidentally, Powers and Triangle Lake will both be playing Mannahouse Christian Academy the next time they take the court. The Cruisers will host Mannahouse Christian Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Lakers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
