Volleyball Recap: Dr. Krop Comes Up Short

Dr. Krop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miami Beach Hi-Tides. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hi-Tides apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Despite the loss, Dr. Krop still got an impressive performance from Mia Morra, who had six digs and four aces. Dalina Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Dr. Krop now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Miami Beach, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Dr. Krop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Reagan on the 6th. As for Miami Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Homestead on the 7th.
