Baseball Recap: North Olmsted Takes a Loss

North Olmsted was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Lakewood Rangers, falling 13-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Monday.

North Olmsted's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1. As for Lakewood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Olmsted will host Brookside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Lakewood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Padua Franciscan at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
