Basketball Game Preview: Cutter-Morning Star Eagles vs. Caddo Hills Indians

The Cutter-Morning Star Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Caddo Hills Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Cutter-Morning Star earned a 61-48 win over Dierks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

While Caddo Hills didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 64-21 victory over Mountain Pine. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 31 points or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Caddo Hills, bringing their record for this year to 9-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Cutter-Morning Star, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Cutter-Morning Star was able to grind out a solid win over Caddo Hills when the teams last played back in January of 2022, winning 62-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cutter-Morning Star since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
