Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Pass vs. Del Rio

Eagle Pass is 0-9-1 against Del Rio since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagle Pass Eagles will take on the Del Rio Rams at 6:30 p.m. Del Rio took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Eagle Pass, who comes in off a win.

Eagle Pass took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand United South a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Del Rio lost 6-2 to Medina Valley on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Panthers are ranked 124th).

Eagle Pass' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11-2. As for Del Rio, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11-1.
