Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Fort Bend Christian Academy

Fort Bend Christian Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Nolan Catholic on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Vikings 13-1. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.

Evelyn Moore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those RBI were her first of the season.

In other batting news, Fort Bend Christian Academy got a big performance out of Allie Guillot, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Guillot has posted since back in February of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jaleigh Bullard, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Fort Bend Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nolan Catholic only posted an OBP of .200.

The win was the third in a row for Fort Bend Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 3-1.
