Gorham is 7-2 against Cheverus since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rams will take on the Stags at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Gorham comes in on five and Cheverus on eight.

Gorham's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Falmouth with a sharp 15-0 win.

Gorham got a massive performance out of Abbie Buckelew, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Adyson Hutchins, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Gorham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Cheverus made easy work of Noble on Wednesday and carried off a 17-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Stags have won by exactly 17 runs.

Hailey Lamontagne was excellent, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Cheverus pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Gorham, their record is now 5-2.

Gorham couldn't quite get it done against Cheverus in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
