Preview: Keefe Tech Broncos vs. Ashland Clockers
The Keefe Tech Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ashland Clockers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Keefe Tech has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bay Path RVT on Thursday. Keefe Tech has struggled against Bay Path RVT recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite their defeat, Keefe Tech saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. George Anastos, who scored 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Eidan Toppa, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Ashland, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-47 loss to Dover-Sherborn on Friday.
Keefe Tech's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Ashland, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Keefe Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Ashland when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Ashland's Charlie Miksis, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
