Volleyball Recap: Shiloh Takes a Loss

Shiloh lost against Buford back in September of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-8.

Shiloh's offense was headlined by Caelyn Whosendove and Yhan Gordon, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Temperance Johnson and her five assists.

Leading Buford to victory were Reagan Callender and Addie Williams. Callender had three digs and three aces, while Williams had two assists. Those three aces gave Callender a new career-high.

Shiloh dropped their record down to 18-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Buford, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Shiloh has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Parkview on the 20th. As for Buford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Seckinger on the 20th.
