Volleyball Game Preview: Eureka Loggers vs. Del Norte Warriors

Eureka hasn't had much luck against Del Norte recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Loggers are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Eureka made easy work of Fortuna and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Loggers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-21.

Del Norte not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over McKinleyville.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-21.

Del Norte's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Eureka, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

Eureka came out on top in a nail-biter against Del Norte when the teams last played on October 2nd, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Loggers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
