Football Game Preview: Princeton Panthers vs. Plano Wildcats + How To Watch

The Princeton Panthers will face off against the Plano Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Princeton's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

While Princeton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 41-34 win over Rock Hill on Friday.

Princeton had a senior duo take command as Marcus Flowers rushed for 32 yards and three touchdowns and Jordan Mosley gained 121 total yards and three touchdowns. Mosley showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 62 yards.

Princeton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Bishop Carrol and Mosley. Mosley is also crushing it when it comes to receiving touchdowns: he's hauled in at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Another thorn in Rock Hill's side was Braedon Chandler, who picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles.

Meanwhile, Plano fell victim to Allen and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 56-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Plano, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Princeton might still be hurting after the 59-35 loss they got from Plano in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Panthers, Tyree Fisher (who rushed for 70 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries, and also threw for 190 yards and three TDs while completing 84.6% of his passes) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
