Volleyball Recap: Dixon Takes a Loss

Dixon lost against Casa Roble back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Dixon lost 3-0 to Casa Roble.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-18.

Kaden Hutchison paced Dixon's offense, picking up four kills. Hutchison got some help from Brandon Covello and his eight assists. Finally, Hutchison was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Dixon's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Casa Roble, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Dixon and Casa Roble will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Rams see the court they'll take on Rio Linda at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Casa Roble, their break will end when they face Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
