It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clinton had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the East Carteret Mariners 4-1. Clinton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 13 matches by three goals or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Clinton and bumps their season record up to 15-10. As for East Carteret, their loss dropped their record down to 14-3-4.
Clinton will head out on the road to face off against Manteo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Manteo is coming into the matchup with four straight victories at home, so Clinton will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. East Carteret does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
