Tilton School faced Kimball Union Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-1. The win was just business as usual for the Rams, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

The team relied heavily on Zoe Twarog, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Andrade, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Tilton School's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Kimball Union Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.

Tilton School will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
