Baseball Recap: Apollo Ridge Takes a Loss

Apollo Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Side Rams.

Noah Stewart was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Alex Clawson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Apollo Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Side, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Apollo Ridge will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Leechburg at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Side, they will head out on the road to square off against Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
