Softball Recap: Higley Finishes Even with Flagstaff

Higley came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Neither they nor the Flagstaff Eagles could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 9-9 tie.

Higley's tie gives them a new season record of 4-6-1. Meanwhile, Flagstaff's record is now 2-0-1.

Higley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-5 defeat against Arizona College Prep on the 20th. As for Flagstaff, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-5 loss against Desert Ridge on the 21st.
