Football Game Preview: South Garner Titans vs. South Central Falcons + How To Watch

The South Garner Titans will head out to challenge the South Central Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Garner has given up an average of 27 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Garner is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Southeast Raleigh on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Titans came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 44-18. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 19th).

Alijah Clarke put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 130 yards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 35 points the game before, South Central was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They took a hard 21-3 fall against New Bern. The Falcons have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

South Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Justyn Perry, Terrion Best, Markion Cox, and Makel Smith picked up one apiece.

South Garner's record now sits at 4-6. As for South Central, their record is now an identical 4-6.
