Baseball Recap: Blackfoot Triumphs + How To Watch

Blackfoot won against Hillcrest on Monday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Broncos came out on top against the Shelley Russets by a score of 14-9. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Dax Poole and Kaeden Fisher did most of the damage at the plate: Poole got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base, while Fisher went 2-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Blackfoot is 4-2 when Fisher posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Griffin Ross, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Blackfoot always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2025.

The win got Blackfoot back to even at 7-7. As for Shelley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
