Football Game Preview: Edison vs. Monsignor Pace

On Friday Edison take on Monsignor Pace at PACE at 7:30 PM. Edison don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

It's always hard to lose, and it's even harder to lose by a single point. Just ask Edison, the unfortunate recipient of a 20-21 defeat at the hands of Berkeley Prep last Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Meanwhile, after flying high against Cooper City two weeks ago, Monsignor Pace came back down to earth. Monsignor Pace ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-37 walloping at Hialeah's hands.

Edison took a serious blow against Monsignor Pace the last time the two teams met, falling 6-42. Can Edison avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
