Soccer Recap: Lexington Senior Takes a Loss

Lexington Senior managed to keep up with East Davidson until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 4-1. If Lexington Senior were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to East Davidson when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Lexington Senior and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for East Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Lexington Senior will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for East Davidson, they will face off against North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
