Soccer Game Preview: Oak Grove vs. Glenn + How To Watch

The Oak Grove Grizzlies will head out to face off against the Glenn Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Oak Grove is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Oak Grove lost 7-1 to Mount Tabor on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Oak Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 365th, while Mount Tabor are ranked 64th).

Oak Grove's goal came courtesy of Grayson Messer, who's now up to 15 this season.

Meanwhile, Glenn made easy work of North Forsyth on Wednesday and carried off a 7-1 victory. Considering Glenn have won nine contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Glenn has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-0-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those seven matches. As for Oak Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11-2.

Oak Grove came up short against Glenn in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, falling 4-2. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
