Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

While St. Mary's ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-17.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy found their leader in sophomore Clive Cariaso, who had 14 digs and one assist.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 25-1.

St. Mary's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Kimball on the 15th. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Chavez on the 15th.
