Aspen is 7-1 against Moffat County since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Skiers will venture away from home to face off against the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Aspen fell victim to Steamboat Springs and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 5-0 to the Sailors. Aspen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Moffat County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Vail Mountain, falling 9-0.

Moffat County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Aspen, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything went Aspen's way against Moffat County in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Aspen made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Skiers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
