Basketball Game Preview: Lanier Longhorns vs. North Gwinnett Bulldogs

The Lanier Longhorns will take on the North Gwinnett Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Lanier's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Last Tuesday, Lanier didn't have too much trouble with Roswell as they won 72-57.

Meanwhile, North Gwinnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-61 heartbreaker at the hands of Berkmar.

Lanier has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for North Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
