Football Recap: Upperman Starts off Right with Win over Webb

Upperman had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 29-7 margin over the Webb Spartans on Friday.

Bronzdon Chaffin was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 187 yards and four scores on only 12 carries, and also threw for 101 yards on seven of 12 attempts. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.

Looking ahead, Upperman will venture away from home to face off against Greeneville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Webb, they will welcome Asheville School (Independent) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
