Volleyball Recap: Sweetwater Takes a Loss

Sweetwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Jim Ned Indians, falling 3-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-9.

When it comes to explaining why Sweetwater lost, don't look at Kieran Sisk. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and four assists.

Sweetwater now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Jim Ned, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Sweetwater has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Grape Creek on the 7th. As for Jim Ned, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Merkel on the 4th.
