Tampa Bay Tech had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They strolled past the Leto Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 46-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2021.

Tampa Bay Tech was led to victory by Milaya Chapman and Jenesis Walker. Chapman posted 16 points, while Walker went 5 of 11 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. Those six steals gave Walker a new career-high. Kamiyah Brown also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Leto lost, don't look at De'Layla Brass. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds.

Tampa Bay Tech's record now sits at 10-7. As for Leto, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
