Basketball Recap: Buena Takes a Loss

Buena lost against Cape May County Tech back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Buena Chiefs took a 29-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cape May County Tech Hawks. The contest marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Buena's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cape May County Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Buena will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Audubon at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Cape May County Tech, they will challenge Cedar Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cape May County Tech is facing Cedar Creek at the right time seeing as Cedar Creek is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
