On Tuesday Bryce Wells pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. The effort also marked the most strikeouts (five) Wells has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one earned run. For the season, he has an ERA of 2.47 over 28.3 innings pitched.
