Volleyball Recap: Friendship Tech Prep Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Washington Latin Public Charter School

Friendship Tech Prep Academy faced Washington Latin Public Charter School in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Titans fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Friendship Tech Prep Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 15-12.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Friendship Tech Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Capital City Public Charter School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
