Football Recap: Carter Starts Season with Victory Against Kaiser

Carter took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the Kaiser Cats with a sharp 26-6 win. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 26-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The critical scores for Carter came from Drelon Allen, Kharon Wells, Jaiden Mejia, and Andre Clark.

Carter didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Marcus Valdivia and Mejia. Mejia got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carter will challenge Don Lugo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kaiser, they will face off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
