South Dakota Top 25 high school football scoreboard: No. 1 Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan wins handily

Seahawks one of four ranked teams to win going away on opening night in South Dakota.
They didn't get the shutout like last year, but top-ranked Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan certainly wasn't complaining. The Seahawks scored a 50-6 win at Wagner on Friday night, a year after recording a 49-0 season-opening win over the same squad.
Bridgewater/Emery/Ethan, which went 12-0 last season en route to a state 11B championship, was one of six Top 25 teams to open the football season Friday during Week 0.
The one big upset was No. 22 and host Webster, which went down to defeat 42-0 to Garretson, which tweeted: "Nice win tonight. Good execution for our first game, a lot of guys got involved and we played with good effort. Let's get better next week."
