After losing to Tift County the last time they met, Valdosta decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Valdosta Wildcats snuck past the Tift County Blue Devils with a 47-43 win on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Valdosta was led to victory by Jabarri Williams and Brandon Brown. Williams posted 18 points along with five assists and three steals, while Brown almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Tift County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Lawson, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Cordell Nelson, who had eight points and nine boards.

Valdosta's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Tift County, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Valdosta has already played their next match, a 57-44 victory against Colquitt County on the 13th. As for Tift County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-42 loss against Lowndes on the 13th.
