Basketball Recap: Highwood Comes Up Short

Highwood lost against Grass Range/Winnett back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Highwood Mountaineers were outmatched by the Grass Range/Winnett Rangers and fell 78-41.

Highwood now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Grass Range/Winnett, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Highwood will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Centerville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Grass Range/Winnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
