Volleyball Recap: Trego Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Trego took on Norton on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bluejays recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14.

Norton found their leader in sophomore Halle Pfannenstiel, who had 14 digs.

Trego's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Norton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Trego didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hoxie on the 23rd. After both having extra time off, Norton and Oakley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another on Tuesday.
