Volleyball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Gets the Win

Thomas Jefferson lost to Grand Junction back in August of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Spartans had just enough and edged out the Tigers 2-1.

Reese Myers paced Thomas Jefferson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Myers got some help from Ellie Huntsman and her 11 assists. Madison Dillon and August Neuhart kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Thomas Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Grand Junction, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Thomas Jefferson will take on Fairview in a tournament on Saturday. As for Grand Junction, they will be taking part in a tournament against Highlands Ranch at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. The Tigers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
