Volleyball Recap: Holy Trinity Catholic Comes Up Short

Holy Trinity Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-14.

Holy Trinity Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Holy Trinity Catholic is set to face off against their familiar foe Valor Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Summit Christian Academy will take on rival Austin Waldorf at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
