Football Recap: Vinita Comes Up Short on the Road Against Oologah

Vinita kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 52-19 loss at the hands of the Oologah Mustangs. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Coming up, Vinita will venture away from home to face off against Grove at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Oologah, they will welcome Collinsville at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
