Football Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jackson had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-3 to make it six. They came up short against the Ypsilanti Grizzlies, falling 50-28. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Ypsilanti, the win got them back to even at 2-2. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Ypsilanti's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaiden Warlick, who picked up 115 receiving yards and three scores. The Grizzlies also got a significant boost from Kyre Reid, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 107 yards.

Looking ahead, Jackson will welcome Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ypsilanti, they will venture away from home to face off against Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
