WEATHER AFFECTS AREA ATHLETIC EVENTS
Southwest Ohio got a significant dose of winter weather this past week. Several Cincinnati-area schools were closed on Thursday because of the snowfall and many basketball games were postponed. The one game that was played was Ursuline's (Youngstown) 39-24 win over Anderson in a girls' basketball game Thursday night. Both schools decided to play after evaluating the weather situation on Thursday afternoon.

ALEX SUTTER ROLLS PERFECT GAME
Anderson (Cincinnati) sophomore Alex Sutter recently bowled a perfect 300 game on Dec. 6, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. Sutter, a second-year varsity player, had the perfect game in his first game of the series against Turpin. Sutter's previous career high for a high school game was 290 earlier this season against Wilmington. Sutter has a 198 average through 17 games this season.
