Volleyball Recap: Roanoke Rapids Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Roanoke Rapids lost against Franklinton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Red Rams, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-5.

Franklinton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adalyn Smith, who had 25 assists and five digs. Those 25 assists gave Smith a new career-high.

Roanoke Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Franklinton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roanoke Rapids will venture away from home to face off against Rocky Mount at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklinton, they will head out to challenge Bunn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
