Basketball Recap: Astoria Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Astoria can now relate to. They fell just short of the Henley Hornets by a score of 41-38 on Sunday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Fishermen have suffered since March 9, 2024.

Astoria's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Henley, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 28-2.

As of now, neither Astoria nor Henley have any future games scheduled.
