Franklin Regional is a perfect 6-0 against Penn Hills since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Franklin Regional will take on Penn Hills at 4:00 p.m. Franklin Regional is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Franklin Regional didn't have quite enough to beat Fox Chapel and fell 6-5. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Brady Yarabinitz was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Luke Williams also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Penn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Gateway, falling 18-2.

Penn Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Derek Nelson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin Regional fell to 3-1. As for Penn Hills, their record now sits at 0-2.

Franklin Regional took their win against Penn Hills when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0. Will Franklin Regional repeat their success, or does Penn Hills has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
