Softball Recap: Hudson's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hudson waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Rusk Eagles 11-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 23-3 last Tuesday.

Hudson's victory bumped their record up to 15-11-1. As for Rusk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson will venture away from home to challenge Palestine at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.68 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Rusk, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
